The BIDs’ street rangers are always in demand – which is why we are delighted to welcome an extra pair of hands to the team.
Vincent Everett has joined the BID as a part time ranger and has lost no time getting out and about, involved in everything from street cleaning to general sprucing-up wherever it is needed.
Vincent, from Penshaw, has worked in security for the past 16 years but decided it was time for a change – so the opportunity to work at the BID was something he jumped at.
His previous jobs also include construction, meaning he has a range of skills which are invaluable to the day-to-day activities of the street team.
As someone who loves working outdoors, being in and around the city centre is something he is relishing, along with the opportunity to meet so many of the local businesses.
