Nicola Wyatt

Nicola is the newest member of the BID team, taking up the role as executive assistant to cover maternity leave.

She comes with a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector, having worked everywhere from the NHS to Sunderland City Council to the construction industry.

It is her passion for her home city that was the driving force in Nicola applying to work at the BID, wanting to be part of an organisation that is at the forefront of helping build a positive future for Sunderland.

Nicola has hit the ground running, supporting events and organising meetings for Chief Executive, Sharon Appleby, building relationships and generally giving a helping hand wherever she is needed.

The fact that no two days are ever the same is part of the job’s appeal for Nicola, who enjoys the flexibility of new tasks, new experiences and new challenges.

When not at work Nicola loves to cook and also gives unloved furniture a new lease of life by repurposing it.
