Julia has I've lived in Roker for most of her life and joining the committee has allowed her to be part of the exciting developments on our coastline.
As a regular visitor to the cafes and restaurants, she can offer a resident's perspective on events, transport and issues raised in connection to the changes which are happening.
Since retiring as a secondary school teacher, she has been involved with several local community groups and acts as Chair of the Friends of Roker Park.
