Get ready for a weekend of steins, singing, dancing and authentic Bavarian entertainment as Oktoberfest arrives in Sunderland from Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October 2026.

The festival will feature a packed programme of traditional Bavarian entertainment throughout the weekend.

A live five-piece Oompah band will perform a mix of classic German favourites and well-known party anthems, creating the perfect soundtrack for an authentic Oktoberfest experience. Keeping the atmosphere going between performances will be a Bavarian-themed DJ, delivering energetic sets guaranteed to keep the party going.

Visitors can also enjoy a range of authentic Bavarian street food and drink, including traditional German-inspired dishes and refreshing steins of beer. Combined with themed décor and festival styling, the event promises to recreate the sights, sounds and spirit of one of the world’s most famous celebrations.
