Roker Hotel we offer 2 venues under one roof, serving delicious meals and a wide range of drinks at all times of the day. Sit back and relax in our newly refurbished 1842 cafe and bistro where you can dine from our day time menu, which includes our fabulous afternoon teas. or opt for a beautifully presented and delicious evening menu.

Afternoon Tea
Quiche, selection of sandwiches, egg mayonnaise with chive, cheese savoury, ham and tomato chutney
Fruit & cheese scones served with clotted cream, tomato chutney and jam.
selection of cakes, strawberry cheesecake, lemon posset, mini chocolate éclair, fudge brownie bite.

 

 

SANDWICHES
Roasted vegetable wrap (VG) -Mediterranean roasted vegetables in a soft tortilla Chicken Caesar wrap

Grilled chicken, anchovies, gem lettuce, crunchy croutons and creamy Caesar dressing, all wrapped up in a tortilla
Roker fish finger sandwich -creamy tartar sauce and a side of mushy peas

Toasted club (gfa) -Chicken and lettuce under bacon

Philly cheesesteak (gfa) -Tender strips of seasoned beef, sautéed onions and melted cheese, packed into a warm, toasted ciabatta

Salmon, cream cheese & cucumber (gfa) -Delicate smoked salmon, cream cheese and cucumber, layered in hearty wholegrain bread

Tomato, mozzarella & pesto (v) (gfa) -A classic combination of fresh vine ripened tomatoes, creamy mozzarella and fragrant pesto served in a toasted ciabatta

STARTERS
Soup of the day – with warmed artisan bread and butter

Wild mushroom & Blue cheese – served on rustic toasted bread

Roast tomato arancini – stuffed with mozzarella, served with tomato relish

Roast pork belly – served with Korean barbecue sauce, sesame and spring onion

 

 

MAINS 
Catch of the day (GF) – with mussels, a white wine cream broth, seasonal greens and new potatoes

Chicken Supreme- with creamed potatoes and seasonal vegetables ,in a wild mushroom, onion and pancetta sauce

10oz Ribeye steak- served with roasted tomato, mushroom and hand cut chips (£5 supplement)

Trio of sausages (GF) – with roasted onion gravy, mashed potato and seasonal veg

Risotto (V) (GF) – with red peppers, sun-dried tomato, courgette and feta cheese

 

 

DESSERTS
Ice cream – 3 scoops of any flavour

Sticky toffee pudding- homemade sticky toffee cake, doused in a rich toffee sauce served with ice cream.

Chocolate brownie – Hot fudgey chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream
