So April the 12th is coming and pubs and restaurants can open their outdoor facilities.
These venues have been busy reshaping, reforming and revitalising their outdoor spaces to ensure the best possible welcome back.
It's a step in the right direction and who isn't looking forward to a swift pint or fruity cocktail 'Out Out'.
Below is a list of city centre establishments that are ready to welcome you this month (and if we have missed anyone, please do let us know).
Please be aware for most of these venues you will need to book in advance to get a table.
Plus for everyone's safety and enjoyment please stick to the government safety guidelines by following the rule of six or two households with 'hands, face, space' and fresh air so we can all move to the next stage of the plan!
Remember some venues may not have an outside seating area but will continue to provide a click and collect or takeaway service until they are able to reopen.
