Little Inventors: Help the Sea Creatures

8 April

Can you build a home for a mussel? Design a cool restaurant for blue whales? Or help scientists learn more about deep sea creatures? Join us for a hands-on creative family workshop.

Together with artist Lottie Smith, we will invent ways to help the sea animals featured in Wildlife Photography of the Year and learn to use recycled materials to bring your ideas to life.

This invention challenge is brought to you by Little Inventors and commissioned by Culture House. It is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and by Sunderland Council.

The recommended age for this activity is 7 – 11 years old. Please note – this activity runs on a first come first served basis and there may be a short wait for spaces to become available.

Drawing in the Wild with Dan

Work with artist Dan Waterston to draw animals and landscapes from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition using a range of materials.

Tickets are free and are available via the Museum website and shop. Please pre-book your child's tickets; there is no need to book spaces for accompanying adults.
