GROWN up ravers can dance to club classics from the 90s and early 2000s at a special DJ event in Sunderland on the afternoon of Saturday August 1 – and still be in bed for 10pm.
HAY DAY is a new clubbing experience at Southpaw Studio, at Sheepfolds Stables, home to one of the country’s leading independent dance companies.
UK-based DJ and producer, Aaron Swales, will be spinning the tunes, a mixture of dance club anthems and feel-good favourites from back in the day.
Friends can shake off responsibilities and lose themselves in the heady days of the 90s and early 2000s from 3-7pm, heading off any morning-after headaches following a late night out.
Tickets are selling fast with plans already underfoot to hold the event regularly.
Robby Graham, Artistic Director of Southpaw Company, said: “HAY DAY will be full of energy and atmosphere and take away the hassle that often comes with a late night out. Whether you’re coming to dance with friends, celebrate a special occasion or simply relive the soundtrack of your youth, HAY DAY will be an afternoon to remember.”
