Sunderland Gift Card is available to buy online, or in person at National Glass Centre, and the Winter Gardens Museum. Both businesses, and individuals can purchase the card loaded with a value ranging from £5 to £500.

Once upona winter trail
This festive season, Sunderland is coming alive with a sprinkle of fairytale magic. Once Upon a Winter Trail is the perfect way to explore the city with family and friends – grab a hot drink or a bite to eat, and follow the magic!
From 13th November to 30th December, wander through Sunderland and discover beautiful, hand-drawn artwork displayed in business windows, creating a trail of festive fun that starts at the Beacon of Light and ends at Sunderland Empire Theatre.
Each window features a QR code, scan these to be entered into a draw with Hits Radio NE to win the ultimate ‘Sunderland Experience’, consisting of pantomime tickets for 4, afternoon tea for 4, Sunderland Gift Card, and more – worth over £250!
Pick up a printed trail map from any participating business, and follow the trail at your own pace.

The festive celebrations go beyond the city centre! Check out all there is to do at the seafront this Christmas.
There’s wreath making sessions & Christmas party nights at STACK, Christmas staycations at The Seaburn Inn, and plenty to do at Roker Hotel. For children, there’s lunch with Santa and lunch with the Grinch, on several dates throughout December. For the adults, there’s a jam-packed calendar at Roker Hotel.
The beautiful scenery also allows for slower days by the seafront, exploring local coffee shops, food spots & more.
