Business Liaison OfficerStreet Services
Sunderland BID is seeking a proactive and community-focused Business Liaison Officer – Street Services to lead initiatives that enhance the appearance, safety, and overall environment of our BID areas – from the city centre to the seafront.
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Services, you will manage the Street Ranger team and volunteers, working with key partners such as the police, fire services, local authorities, and levy-paying businesses to improve cleanliness, reduce crime, and foster civic pride. You will also take an active role in the Shopwatch and Pub Watch schemes and collaborate with Sunderland City Council and Northumbria Police on targeted safety campaigns.
What to expect?
- 35 hours per week (some evenings and weekend work required)
- 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
- City centre and seafront based, 5 days a week
- Pension contribution and access to an employee assistance programme
- Overseeing three direct reports
- £30,000 – £34,000 salary per annum based on experience
- Driving license required
